I am going to briefly discuss Aweber for sending automated e-mail messages. Overall Aweber is an regularly used and popular autoresponder used by the majority of internet marketers. I am going to briefly go over the pro’s and cons of using Aweber.

• Remote server platform with high availability, you don’t have to worry about getting blacklisted
• Integrated with social media platforms to make the e-mails more viral
• As with other autoresponder create a opt-in form. They currently also support a facebook signup page.
• Large selection of templates for HTML e-mails
• High deliverability with automatic bounce management and unsubscribe removal.
• Free support with extensive video tutorials and knowledgebase.
• Blog broadcaster turns RSS entries into newsletters as per your specification
• Email web analytics
• Shopping cart integration for digital product delivery or upsell’s .
• 30 day trial then basic subscription of $19.00
• Multiple campaigns for all of your sites and blogs.
• Date and timed automated delivery.

Now the cons;

• Monthly fee that increments according to amount of subscribers.
• Cannot import contacts from other autoresponder
• Duplicate removal’s or management

Overall it looks like it is weighted in Aweber’s favour with features but the pricing is what can be inhibiting if you expand dramatically and you want to keep your costs down.

Autoresponseplus does provide a good costs efficent option with some of the social media options missing but this can change now that Neil Morgan has joined forces with Mark Joyner.
