Why you need a website
A website is a good way for people to find you on the internet and to increase your visibility every day of the year for very little cost. It is a electronic representation of your company or business or hobby.

What is a domain name
Domain is made up of an ip address which is a number, to make websites easily to remember a domain name is given to that number, eg www.dragonsgatemarketing.com’s ip address is 174.132.165.25.

Bigger sites like Google have multiple ip addresses due to the high demand and the many locations that the site will serve.

What is webhosting
Webhosting is where a company rents out computer systems for you to create your website for people to visit. There are a number of companies that provide this service. I have been using a company called hostgator to host my website. Depending on the package you choose you can go for a low cost option for a small site or a bigger business package that gives you the chance to create multiple websites depending on your requriements.
